Taste of trevs welcome
Mowlam room · 20:00 — 22:00
Welcome social featuring typical British snacks, and others from around the world
If you need help finding the common room, just ask an MCR Frep during the day and we can show you there
Anyone arriving to college late, just send a message on the chat and we can come and help!
24 September

Durham deep dive
Mowlam room · 16:00 — 18:00
An introduction to Durham, including info on the best places for shopping and how to get around, followed by trivia
Snacks provided
Dinner at Happiness 2
Town centre · 19:00 — 21:00
Following the deep dive, we will head into town for dinner at Happiness 2 on North Road
We will pay for the table cover charge
26 September
Tour of Durham town centre
Town centre · 14:00 — 16:00
We will be heading into town from Trevs to show people around local shops, indoor markeplace, and to go in the cathedral
This will be followed by a trip to a café
Indoor games
College, JKH · 19:30 — 21:00
There will be games including badminton and table tennis set up in the JKH sports hall
We will make a trip to the college bar following to celebrate our collective sporting prowess
27 September
Botanic gardens walk
Botanic gardens · 11:00 — 13:00
We will go for a morning walk around the Botanic Gardens
Quiz night
Mowlam room · 20:00 — 22:00
There will be a relaxed quiz in the Mowlam room and there will be a small prize for the winning team
28 September
Evening trip into town
Town centre · 19:00 — 21:00
We will be walking around Durham to show off some of the more interesting locations to visit (for when the light is better!)
29 September
Consent talks session
College, Dowrick · 9:00 — 9:30
Consent talks information session in the Dowrick, hosted by college student support
Attendance is required
Trip to Beamish Museum
Beamish · 9:30 — 15:00
We will be travelling via local busses to Beamish open air museum
Following the consent talks, a group will gather at Trevs at 9:30 and walk to the bus station
Year tickets will be heavily subsidised for those who have paid the MCR levy
Arts and Crafts Night

We will do some arts and crafts, led by the freps
All supplies provided by us!

JCR Bop
College · 20:00 — 23:00
We will be joining the JCR for their annual bop — a night of live music and ents
1 October
Inter-MCR Boat Party
Town centre, Prince Bishop boat · 9:00 — 9:30
We will be joining Butler MCR's for an inter-MCR boat party in town on the prince bishop
2 October
Bowling
Lane7 · 19:00 — 21:00
To round out the week, we will be heading for an evening of bowling at Lane 7
The cost will be part subsidised for MCR levy payer
